The Fine Art Export Coordinator will manage the safe, compliant, and efficient export of artworks, antiques, and interior design objects to international destinations. The role requires excellent attention to detail, knowledge of customs and export regulations, and the ability to coordinate with clients, galleries, shippers, and regulatory bodies to ensure items are transported securely and on schedule.
Salary: Β£30k-Β£35k depending on experience
Location: Office-based - Feltham, Middlesex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-18:00
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review export documentation, including customs declarations, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Coordinate shipments via air freight, courier, road freight, and sea freight.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Liaise with fine art handlers, shipping agents, couriers, and freight forwarders to arrange safe and timely exports.
- Track shipments and provide clients with clear updates and supporting documentation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the export process.
- Resolve issues relating to export delays and customs clearance.
- Maintain accurate shipment records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Proven experience in freight forwarding for a UK based freight forwarder.
- Strong knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping requirements.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of BoxTop and E-customs systems would be advantageous.
