We are working with one of the UK's leading transport and logistics operators, recognised for its national footprint, modern asset base, and long-term commitment to safety, performance, and sustainability. As part of continued investment and growth, the business is seeking an experienced General Manager of Fleet to take national ownership of fleet engineering, compliance, performance, and strategy, playing a critical role in shaping how the fleet evolves over the coming years.
This is a senior leadership role with real influence across asset strategy, supplier management, sustainability, and cost control.
The role: Reporting to the Fleet Director, the General Manager of Fleet will lead the fleet function at a national level, ensuring vehicles and trailers operate safely, compliantly, and efficiently, while delivering the lowest total cost of ownership across the asset lifecycle.
About you: You are a commercially minded fleet leader with strong technical credibility and the confidence to operate at senior level.
