The Role
You will be responsible for coordinating European road freight movements across import and export operations, ensuring shipments are managed efficiently while delivering a high level of customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing European road freight shipments from booking through to final delivery
- Liaising with customers, hauliers, overseas agents and transport partners
- Obtaining competitive rates and arranging transport solutions
- Producing and checking freight documentation
- Monitoring shipments and proactively resolving any delays or issues
- Providing customers with regular shipment updates
- Handling customs-related documentation where required
- Processing quotations, invoicing and maintaining accurate operational records
