Salary: €45,000 - €50,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Freight Forwarding Operator to join our clients growing team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional with strong experience in Ocean (FCL/LCL) and Air Freight operations who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily Deep Sea (FCL/LCL) and Air Freight shipments from booking through to final delivery
  • Experience dealing with Import and Export shipments
  • Coordinate collections with domestic and international carrier networks
  • Track shipments, monitor consignments, and issue pre-alerts to clients and partners
  • Prepare and process accurate shipment documentation, including Bills of Lading (BL) and Air Waybills (AWB)
  • Liaise with overseas offices, agents, carriers, and logistics partners worldwide
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular shipment updates
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational issues across import and export shipments
  • Ensure compliance with customs procedures, shipping regulations, and internal processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in Ocean and Air Freight Forwarding
  • Strong understanding of Incoterms, customs procedures, and shipping documentation
  • Proven ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high service standards
