Our client, who are a recognized transport company, are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their team in Doncaster. As Transport Planner, you will be experienced in dealing with containers and routing company-owned vehicles UK-wide.
Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 18:00
Salary: Up to £32,000
The Role:
- Routing company owned vehicles
- Plan routes as cost effectively as possible
- Plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers Hours
- Ensure all customers are kept up to date
- All necessary admin must be completed
- You will be working with the Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards
- Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, queries in accordance with the companies' requirements.
