Junior Air Freight Operator in Denton, Greater Manchester. Up to £27,000 + Benefits. Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 17:00pm.

Are you looking to build a long-term career in freight forwarding with a company that will invest in your development? I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established international freight forwarder for a Junior Air Freight Import & Export Operator to join their growing team in Denton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some freight forwarding and logistics experience who is keen to broaden their knowledge across both exports and imports.

You’ll join a supportive, close-knit team where you’ll receive ongoing training and the opportunity to develop into a well-rounded Air Freight Operator.

The Role:
  • Assisting with the coordination of international air freight import and export shipments.
  • Liaising with customers, airlines, overseas agents and transport providers.
  • Preparing shipping documentation and ensuring all records are accurate.
  • Tracking shipments and providing customers with regular updates.
  • Supporting customs clearance processes and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience within freight forwarding or logistics (air freight experience preferred but not essential).
  • A genuine interest in developing a career within international freight.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
