Customs Manager – Belfast Up to £40,000 | Monday – Friday | 9am -5.30pm Our client is looking for an experienced Customs Manager to oversee the global import/export operations, ensuring full compliance with international trade laws and regulations. You\’ll play a key role in managing customs processes, mitigating risks, and driving compliance excellence across the business. Main Duties: Ensure compliance with global customs regulations and trade laws. Oversee customs documentation, including classification and valuation of goods. Liaise with customs authorities, brokers, and regulatory bodies. Develop and maintain trade compliance policies and frameworks. Identify and mitigate risks related to import/export activities. Manage trade certifications and optimise duty savings. Provide training to teams on compliance best practices. Maintain accurate records and prepare compliance reports. Requirements: Proven experience in customs and trade compliance. Strong knowledge of international customs regulations and trade agreements. Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills. Previous experience dealing with Import and Export customs.
