A leading logistics provider is seeking a skilled and detail-focused Import Customs Operator to join its Customs team based at London Gateway. This vital role involves managing import declarations and ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process accurate import and export customs documentation
• Ensure compliance with current UK customs regulations and procedures
• Liaise regularly with HMRC and port community systems to resolve issues
• Maintain up-to-date internal records and customs systems
• Keep abreast of changes in customs legislation and practices
  

What You\'ll Need

• Minimum 2 years\' experience in customs documentation
• Background in road imports
• Hands-on experience with customs systems (e.g., Sequoia, CDS, Destin8)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong knowledge of UK import/export regulations
• Good team player with effective communication skills
• Full UK driving license (due to office location)
