My client is looking to take on an enthusiastic Customs Coordinator/Clerk/Broker to join their Customs and Transport Division and support the Customs Team to deliver clearances on time.
Work Hours: Full time - Monday to Friday (Rotational Shift)

Key Responsibilities:
- Sense check data provided by customers against required source and advise on potential errors.
- Create Import and Export declarations through using customs software such as CDS.
- Prepare and submit customs declarations via CHIEF/CDS for imports and exports in compliance with UK and EU regulations.
- Track and monitor declaration status.
- Liaise with HMRC, freight forwarders, and clients to ensure timely clearance of goods and resolve any compliance or documentation issues.
Requirements:
- Direct Customs Experience for a UK/Ireland Based Freight Forwarder, Customs Broker or Transport Company.
- Experience in both Import and Export Clearances.
- Previous experience working with CDS, Destin8, CNS, Pentant, or CCS is desirable.
- Knowledge of HMRC compliance and regulation is desirable.
