Our client is seeking an experienced Multi-Modal Freight Supervisor to join their busy freight forwarding operation in Colnbrook. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the freight department, ensuring the smooth movement of air, ocean, and road freight shipments while providing support, guidance, and leadership to the operations team. You will play a key role in maintaining exceptional customer service, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the daily operations of the multi-modal freight department, ensuring shipments are processed accurately and on time.
- Lead, support, and motivate a team of freight coordinators, providing training and ongoing development where required.
- Manage the end-to-end movement of air, ocean, and road freight shipments, ensuring customer requirements are met.
- Monitor operational performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service levels.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, airlines, shipping lines, hauliers, overseas agents, and suppliers.
