Are you an experienced container transport professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are working with a well-established container haulage operator based near London Gateway that is seeking a hands-on Senior Container Planner to join their growing operation.
This position is ideally suited to an experienced planner who enjoys being heavily involved in the day-to-day operation, while also having the capability and ambition to step into a Depot Manager position in the near future.
You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the transport operation, mentoring junior planners, improving efficiencies, and helping drive commercial performance across the business.
The Role:
As Senior Container Planner, you will take responsibility for coordinating a busy container transport operation, ensuring deliveries and collections are planned efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service levels. You will work closely with drivers, customers, and senior management, acting as a key point of support within the operation. This is a role with genuine progression potential into depot leadership as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate daily container transport movements efficiently
