My client is looking for a results driven Internal Sales Executive to join their team in their Chelmsford Office. The right candidate will be an experienced sales-person, account manager or coordinator who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder, having a background in Sea, Road and/or Air freight.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am-5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent customer service.
  • To generate and follow up sales leads, liaising with new and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
  • Bring on new Freight business and liaise with the operations team.
  • Be up-to-date on current developments in the market and information on competitors.

Requirements:

  • Freight Forwarding Sales/Account Management Experience.
  • Import and/or Export Sea Freight experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with Air and Road freight would be beneficial.
  • Experience working for a UK based freight forwarding company.
  • Ability to bring business would be advantageous.
