They’re now looking to appoint a Customs & Freight Coordinator to join their evening operations team.

The Role

This is a pivotal position within the operation, acting as the link between customs, warehouse and transport teams to ensure every trailer departs accurately, compliantly and on schedule. You’ll be responsible for completing customs documentation once trailers have been loaded, confirming all freight has been processed correctly and working closely with the warehouse team to resolve any discrepancies before departure. No two evenings are the same, so you’ll need to be confident making decisions, prioritising urgent freight and keeping the operation running smoothly under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and completing customs documentation for outbound trailer movements
  • Liaising closely with warehouse teams to confirm all freight has been loaded correctly
  • Identifying and resolving loading discrepancies before departures
  • Prioritising urgent shipments to ensure service commitments are achieved
  • Working with transport and operations teams to keep departures on schedule
  • Ensuring all customs processes comply with current regulations
  • Acting as the key point of contact for operational issues during the evening shift

About You

To be successful, you’ll ideally have:
