The Role
- Managing European road freight import or export shipments from booking through to delivery
- Liaising with customers, hauliers, overseas partners and internal departments
- Preparing transport documentation and maintaining accurate records
- Producing quotations and securing competitive transport rates
- Monitoring shipments and proactively resolving delays or operational issues
- Providing regular updates and a high standard of customer service
- Developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers
The Candidate
- Previous experience in either road freight imports or exports
- Good knowledge of European road freight operations
- Confident communicating with customers, hauliers and overseas partners
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
- Commercially aware, proactive and comfortable solving problems
- Able to work independently while contributing to a supportive team
