Freight Forwarder Location: Bradford Hours: Monday to Friday Salary: Up to £40,000 DEO An established and growing international freight forwarder is seeking a proactive European Road Freight Planner to join their Bradford-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven experience in road freight operations who enjoys taking ownership of the full transport process across Europe. You\’ll play a key role in planning and coordinating vehicle movements, managing customs requirements, and ensuring every shipment is delivered smoothly and efficiently. A good understanding of the German, French, and Benelux markets is highly desirable. What You\’ll Be Doing Plan and oversee daily European road freight operations from booking to final delivery Communicate with customers, hauliers, and overseas agents to coordinate shipments Prepare and check documentation for customs clearance and compliance Maintain accurate shipment records and system updates Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and service growth What We\’re Looking For Previous experience in European freight forwarding (import/export) for a UK Based forwarder Knowledge of customs formalities and documentation Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask A positive, problem-solving mindset and willingness to take initiative What\’s on Offer Competitive salary package Pension contribution (5%) Free on-site parking Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) road freight operator european road freight freight operations freight forwarder road freight operations WR Logistics are the 1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
