Key Responsibilities
- Commercial & Financial
- Work closely with the commercial team to support branch revenue and gross profit targets
- Support the delivery and execution of the branch growth strategy
- Drive profitability across Multi Modal operations
- Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day management of branch operations
- Lead and support the Ocean Freight operations team, with additional oversight of Air Freight activity where required
- Ensure customer service levels consistently meet and exceed expectations
- Maintain operational efficiency, productivity, and service quality
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, customs procedures, and industry regulations
- Manage shipping line allocations and contract space effectively
- Oversee operational financial processes including month-end preparation, DMR/CIMS workflows, invoicing, and cost control
- Identify and implement operational improvements and best practices
Requirements
- Proven freight forwarding operations management experience
- Strong Ocean Freight operational background is essential
- Air Freight operational experience would be highly advantageous
- Experience managing customer relationships and operational KPIs
- Knowledge of customs processes and international freight compliance
