This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy logistics company as a Bookings Clerk on a 1-year maternity cover contract. The role involves supporting the day-to-day administration of transport bookings, customer service, invoicing and account support within a fast-paced office environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, drivers and internal departments to ensure bookings and operational tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. While initially offered as maternity cover, there is potential for the role to lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
Location: Fully office based
- Key Account Administration, Rating and Invoicing
- Accurately rate all jobs within the system, ensuring all applicable ancillary charges are included
- Review weekly RCNs and investigate any discrepancies or queries
- Check and process wasted journey charges where applicable
- Resolve invoicing and rating queries efficiently
- Complete weekly invoicing processes, ensuring all outstanding items are cleared
- Process and issue credit notes when required
- Maintain and update the rate screen as needed
