The Opportunity
We are exclusively partnering with a well-established global logistics provider to recruit an Aerospace Operations Account Manager to support the continued growth of their Aerospace and Time-Critical division. This is a hands-on operational role, managing high-value, mission-critical Aerospace shipments where precision, speed, and compliance are non-negotiable. The business offers a Monday-Friday working week with flexible start and finish times, making this a rare opportunity to balance a demanding Aerospace role with genuine flexibility. You will take ownership of key Aerospace accounts, acting as the operational link between customers, airlines, suppliers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end operational management of Aerospace, AOG, and time-critical shipments
- Ensure strict compliance with SOPs, customer requirements, customs regulations, and IATA standards
- Act as the main operational point of contact for customers, overseas agents, airlines, and suppliers
- Coordinate air and road movements, ensuring optimal routing and service continuity
- Proactively monitor live shipments, managing exceptions and resolving issues in real time
- Maintain accurate job files, system updates, and operational documentation
- Effectively prioritise workload to meet service levels and critical deadlines
- Support out-of-hours requirements as part of a collaborative Aerospace team
- Work closely with internal commercial and operational stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience within Aerospace logistics, AOG, or time-critical supply chains
- Strong operational background within air freight (road essential; multimodal preferred)
- IATA Dangerous Goods trained
- Solid understanding of Aerospace customs procedures and compliance
- Calm, decisive, and solutions-led under pressure
- Confident communicator with strong customer-facing experience
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
