We are partnering with a highly respected, employee-owned global logistics business to recruit an experienced Aerospace Operations Account Manager for their Heathrow operation. The Opportunity
Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of Aerospace clients, managing shipments from inception to completion while developing long-term, profitable relationships. You will work closely with senior Aerospace leadership to drive growth, maximise margins, and deliver an exceptional service in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an Aerospace customer portfolio
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, airlines, and overseas agents
- Support the UK Aerospace leadership team in achieving commercial targets
- Handle shipments end-to-end, ensuring compliance and operational excellence
- Raise, manage, and follow up client quotations
- Select carriers to maximise profitability and service levels
- Manage costs, margins, and weekly/monthly financial reporting
- Support out-of-hours Aerospace requirements alongside the wider team
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience within Aerospace logistics
- Strong understanding of Aerospace supply chains and customs processes
- Multi-modal experience (Air & Road essential; Ocean training available)
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation skills
- Confident relationship builder with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment
