Are you an organised, proactive planner with a passion for keeping transport operations running smoothly? Our client, a well-established logistics business based in Bristol, is seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join their busy transport office.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and coordinating pallet collections and deliveries across the region
- Managing a fleet of vehicles up to 44 tonnes
- Ensuring full driver and vehicle compliance
- Overseeing day-to-day transport operations to maximise efficiency
- Providing exceptional customer service and timely updates
- Working closely with drivers, customers and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain service levels
What we’re looking for:
- Previous pallet network or palletised freight experience is highly advantageous
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced transport environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and operational planning
