Export Freight Forwarder (Airfreight Clerk) Location: Farnborough, Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 Contract: Full-time, Permanent ________________________________________ Air Export Operator We are seeking an experienced Export Clerk (Airfreight) to join our busy and growing team in Farnborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive freight professional with at least 3 years of experience in air export operations within a freight forwarding environment. You\’ll play a key role in coordinating export shipments, handling documentation, and ensuring compliance with global freight procedures – all while delivering exceptional customer service to our internal and external clients. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Handle day-to-day export operations including air, road, courier, and some sea freight bookings Liaise with carriers, agents, customers, and warehouses to arrange collections and resolve queries Produce and process export documentation: MAWB, HAWB, NES entries, LC documents, COO\’s, EUR1s, ATRs, ATA Carnets Complete customs entries with a strong understanding of UCRs, MUCRs, CPC codes Maintain accurate data entry and manage internal systems for export bookings Raise invoices and dispatch transport documents to clients Coordinate with the wider team to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery Provide first-class client support and proactively handle any shipment issues________________________________________ What We\’re Looking For Minimum 3 years\’ experience as an Airfreight Export Clerk Solid understanding of export documentation and customs procedures Experience with NES entries and consular documents Knowledge of dangerous goods handling (by air) Excellent organisation, attention to detail and time management Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confident working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines A genuine team player with a customer-first mindset 100% office-based – no remote working________________________________________ What We Offer Salary up to £35,000 (based on experience) Friendly and supportive team environment Commitment to staff development and continuous training A varied and fast-paced role within a well-established freight businessWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
