Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding
Location: Felixstowe, UK
Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOE) + Commission + Car Allowance
My client is looking for a results driven, Business Development Manager to help grow their business and Freight Forwarding sector. The right candidate will be a sales-person who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder looking to make their next step in their career. Knowledge and experience with Air and/or Ocean Freight is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- To develop and maintain e?ective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent customer service.
- To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable pro?t.
- Promote the business to new and existing clients to help grow the Freight Forwarding sector.
- Provide accurate information to internal operations sta? in order that all relevant administration can be completed e?ciently.
- Be up-to-date on current developments in the market and information on competitors.
