An established HVAC manufacturer specialising in air diffusion products is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support specification-led projects through accurate product selection, technical quotation, and coordination with consultants and contractors.

This role supports a high volume of technical enquiries, interpreting drawings and specifications to produce accurate, compliant quotations and product selections based on airflow, pressure drop and acoustic performance. You will act as a key link between consultants, contractors and internal teams, responding to technical queries, supporting specification retention and contributing to value engineering where required.

Requirements

  • Experience within HVAC or building services
  • Background in estimating, internal sales, or applications
  • Understanding of airflow principles and air distribution products (grilles, diffusers, louvres)
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and schedules
  • Experience producing technical quotations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple enquiries
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to prioritise workload

Desirable:

  • Direct experience with air diffusion products
  • CAD (2D/3D) capability
  • Exposure to specification-led projects
  • Experience supporting CPDs (e.g. CIBSE)

Package

  • Salary circa £45,000
  • Christmas bonus
  • Full-time, office-based role
  • Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00
  • Up to 25 days of annual leave
