We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a design & build contractor in Manchester that is experiencing strong and sustained growth. You will oversee multiple projects simultaneously - typically around five at any one time - ensuring all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on, commercially focused position that involves managing subcontract labour, maintaining client relationships, and driving project profitability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple commercial and industrial mechanical installations
- Oversee planning, delivery, and financial performance across live projects
- Manage subcontractors and ensure quality, safety, and compliance on-site
- Take ownership of project budgets, procurement, and client variations
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
Package
- Base salary: £50,000 - £60,000
- Bonus: Up to £30,000 (linked to gross profit performance)
- Car allowance: £6,000 per annum
- 33 days' holiday (including bank holidays)
