An established engineering services provider operating in the offshore and energy sectors is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead multi-discipline projects from concept through delivery. The business delivers specialist HVAC, ventilation, and mechanical solutions for offshore platforms and energy infrastructure, working with contractors, consultancies, and end users. This role exists to manage complex projects efficiently, ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and on-time execution.
You will take ownership of engineering projects, coordinating all technical and delivery aspects. Responsibilities include producing detailed designs using AutoCAD, developing project documentation, maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), and verifying component and material compliance. You will peer-review engineering work, support tender documentation, and liaise closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Projects will cover HVAC, ventilation, smoke control, and mechanical building services in offshore and industrial energy environments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in multi-disciplinary engineering project roles within HVAC, ventilation, or offshore energy sectors
- Strong technical knowledge of air handling systems (AHUs, FCUs, ductwork), chillers, VRF/VRV, and building services controls (BMS, LEV)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and modern engineering design tools
- Knowledge of offshore or industrial standards, compliance, and certification processes
