An established specialist within the dust and fume extraction sector is looking to appoint a Contracts Engineer to support growth across the South of England. The business designs, manufactures and installs LEV, dust extraction and industrial ventilation systems across sectors including manufacturing, timber, construction, food production and renewable energy. This is a home-based role focused on managing projects from survey and specification review through to CAD coordination, procurement, installation and client handover. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver compliant, commercially controlled extraction projects in line with HSG258 and wider health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Experience managing mechanical, LEV, dust extraction or industrial ventilation projects
- Ability to review specifications, drawings and technical documentation
- Experience preparing cost estimates, project documentation and installation plans
- Working knowledge of CAD and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements; HSG258 knowledge advantageous
- BOHS P601 / P604 advantageous
- Strong client liaison, supplier coordination and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Based in the southern half of England
