We are recruiting on behalf of a growing business seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimise its supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and delivery functions.
This pivotal role will ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations, aligning with the company\'s growth ambitions while maintaining high standards of efficiency, cost control, and compliance. You will play a key part in driving operational improvements, building high-performing teams, and supporting the delivery of large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations across procurement, warehousing, logistics, and order fulfilment.
Oversee project scheduling to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
Coordinate closely with technical, finance, sales, and design teams.
Manage company vehicles, tooling, equipment, and resources.
Develop and enforce SOPs to ensure operational consistency.
Lead the company\'s Health & Safety plan, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Develop and monitor KPIs across operations teams.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team.
Ensure compliance with ISO, H&S, and industry standards.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Support tenders and large project bids with operational planning.
Align operational capacity with business growth and strategy.
Key Skills & Experience
Strong background in construction or engineering supply chain and logistics management.
Proven track record in operational efficiency and Lean principles.
Opex budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.
Familiarity with ERP systems and operational planning tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and risk management experience.
Excellent leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Package:
Base salary in the region of €100,000
Company bonus
Car or car allowance
23 days holiday
