My client is one of the leading mechanical contractors on the South coast, that works directly with housing associations, installing and maintaining air source heat pumps and all associated heating and plumbing equipment. Due to securing new projects and subsequently going through a period of organic growth, they are looking to bring on a Mechanical Manager to oversee both installation and maintenance. This is suitable for a Mechanical Project Manager, Heat Pump Project Manager or Renewable Project Manager who possesses strong management of both installations from pre-construction through installation to maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Formal engineering qualifications such as a degree, diploma or a completed apprenticeship.
  • Currently a Project Manager, Contract Manager, Heating Manager or Renewable Manager.
  • Experience in the following:
  • Estimation.
  • Commercial negotiation through pre-construction.
  • Procurement of materials.
  • Management of sub-contract labour.
  • Overseeing the installation of equipment.
  • Manage a team delivering aftercare and a small service team.

Package:

  • Salary 55,000 - 60,000.
  • Car or car allowance.
  • Hybrid working.
  • 28 days holiday.
  • 8% pension.
