We are currently partnering with an innovative and fast-growing renewable technology business to recruit a Technical Manager to support the continued development of their technical and operational capabilities. The ideal candidate will come from a trade background, preferably a Gas Engineer, Heating Engineer or Heat Pump Engineer who is looking to progress their career.

Our client specialises in the design and manufacture of energy-efficient heating systems, helping developers, housing providers, and contractors improve building performance and reduce carbon emissions. With continued market growth driven by decarbonisation and changing building regulations, the business is expanding rapidly and investing heavily in both product innovation and technical support functions.
The Role
As Technical Manager, you will take ownership of the company's technical function, supporting product performance, installation standards, compliance, and customer support across multiple projects. You'll work closely with internal departments including sales, operations, engineering, and customer support, while also acting as a senior technical contact for contractors, consultants, and developers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical leadership across renewable heating and ventilation products
- Supporting installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
- Managing technical documentation, specifications, and compliance standards
- Acting as a key technical contact for customers and project stakeholders
- Supporting product development and continuous improvement initiatives

The Candidate
We are looking for a Gas Engineer or Heat Pump Engineer with a strong technical background with heat pump technology.
Essential:
- Heat Pump qualifications
- G3 Water Regulations
- Excellent knowledge of installing and maintaining heat pumps
- Ability to support both internal teams and external customers technically
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
The Package
Base salary £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
Yearly bonus scheme
Company vehicle or car allowance
8% Pension
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
