An established UK specialist in workplace air and ventilation solutions is seeking an experienced LEV Project Manager to join its growing operations team. This role offers the chance to take ownership of technically varied LEV projects across multiple sectors, working from initial survey through to final handover.
You will be joining a stable, forward-thinking business with a strong reputation in air quality, waste extraction, and ventilation systems, where technical expertise and high standards are genuinely valued.
The Role
As LEV Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of Local Exhaust Ventilation projects across the UK. This is a handsâon, technically focused role combining site work, design coordination, commercial awareness, and client liaison.
Key duties will include:
- Carrying out detailed site surveys nationwide
- Producing and overseeing technical CAD drawings
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout delivery
- Procuring equipment and materials specific to each project
- Managing supplier relationships, cost control, and performance
- Monitoring project budgets to protect and improve margins
- Coordinating installation teams and supervising site activity
- Scheduling logistics and ensuring timely delivery of components
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification
- Resolving technical or commercial issues as they arise
- Producing project closeâout documentation and financial summaries
Candidate Requirements
This role would suit a technically strong LEV professional with proven project management experience. You will ideally have:
- Solid experience in LEV system design and delivery
- Strong working knowledge of COSHH regulations
- Familiarity with HSG258 guidance
- Proficiency in CAD software for system layouts and design
- BOHS P602 qualification (or equivalent) â essential
- Willingness to continue professional development and BOHS training
- A genuine commitment to improving workplace air quality and safety
- Strong communication skills with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- A proactive, solutionsâfocused mindset
- Good commercial awareness and budget management capability
- Experience producing RAMS and working to high safety standards
