Heat Network Engineer London & South East £45,000-£55,000 + Van + Package
The Role
- Service and maintain district and communal heating networks
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose faults across heat network systems
- Service and fault-find Heat Interface Units (HIUs)
- Work across energy centres and associated plant
- Monitor network temperatures, pressures and performance
- Investigate poor heating and hot-water performance
- Carry out system optimisation and efficiency improvements
- Work with pumps, valves, heat exchangers, controls and metering
- Support commissioning and network performance testing
- Complete technical reports and maintenance documentation
- Liaise with residents, clients and site management teams
The Candidate
- Heating, mechanical or building-services engineering background
- Experience with district heating, communal heating or heat networks advantageous
- Strong knowledge of LTHW heating systems
- Experience with HIUs highly desirable
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, plate heat exchangers and controls
- Commercial heating experience considered
- Plumbing / heating qualification advantageous
- Strong customer-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence
