A specialist smoke control contractor is looking to recruit a Smoke Ventilation Installation & Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of life-safety smoke ventilation projects across London, the Home Counties and the wider South East.

Working alongside the Project Management team, you'll be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning and client handover of smoke ventilation systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely and to a high technical standard.

You'll also liaise with clients, supervise subcontractors where required and help resolve technical issues on site.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects from installation through to successful commissioning and handover.

Occasional travel and short periods working away may be required depending on project location.

Requirements Experience within smoke control, smoke ventilation, HVAC or building controls.

Background in installation, commissioning or servicing of electrical or mechanical systems.

Able to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and project drawings.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Experience liaising with clients, subcontractors and project managers.

CSCS Card.

Full UK driving licence.

Good understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.

Comfortable completing commissioning records, documentation and client handovers.
