Enniskillen Integrated Primary School is a welcoming and inclusive school community committed to providing high-quality education for every child. We are now looking for a Year 6 Teacher to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 32.4 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Key Stage 2 teacher to join our supportive and inclusive school environment. In this rewarding role, you will have the chance to shape the learning and development of pupils at a vital point in their education, helping to prepare them for the transition to secondary school. The Role

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive teaching to pupils in year six. Supporting pupils' learning and development, you will play a vital part in preparing them for the transition to secondary education. You will plan and deliver lessons that meet a range of learning needs, assess learning effectively and ensure all pupils are supported to achieve their potential. You will use a variety of teaching strategies to support pupil progress and attainment, supporting pupils with additional needs and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.

About You

To be considered as a Year 6 Teacher, you will need:

  • At least one year's teaching experience in KS2 within the past five years (excluding teaching practice)
  • Knowledge of the Northern Ireland Curriculum
  • Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
  • The ability to use a range of teaching strategies to support learning and assessment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively with others and make sound judgments
  • A recognised teaching qualification for grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland
  • Registration with the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland (GTCNI) (or willingness to obtain before taking up post)
