Enniskillen Integrated Primary School is a welcoming and inclusive school community committed to providing high-quality education for every child. We are now looking for a Nursery Teacher to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 32.4 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified early years teacher with Pre-School or Foundation Stage experience to join our welcoming and inclusive school community. The Role
As a Nursery Teacher, you will provide a nurturing and inclusive early years education to pre-school aged children. Supporting young children's development, wellbeing and readiness for learning, you will plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the Northern Ireland curriculum. You will support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development, creating a safe and stimulating classroom environment. You will observe and assess progress, adapting activities to meet individual needs and ensure every child is supported to reach their potential.
Additionally, you will:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and school policies
About You
To be considered as a Nursery Teacher, you will need:
- At least one year's teaching experience in a Pre-School or Foundation Stage setting within the past five years (excluding teaching practice)
- Experience working with a range of professionals to meet the needs of children and young people with Special Educational Needs
- Experience of Outdoor Learning in a Nursery setting
- Knowledge of a range of teaching strategies to meet the learning needs and assessment of pupils
- Knowledge of the Northern Ireland Curriculum and/or NI Pre-School Curriculum
- Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
- A recognised teaching qualification for nurseries and/or grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland
- Registration with the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland (GTCNI) (or willingness to obtain before taking up the post)
