An established engineering business specialising in industrial weighing and process measurement equipment is looking to recruit an experienced Service Engineer to support customers across the region. This is a field-based role, covering customer sites within a manageable territory, carrying out service, repair, installation, calibration and commissioning work on industrial weighing equipment.

The Role:

  • Service, repair and install industrial weighing equipment
  • Attend breakdowns and carry out preventative maintenance
  • Complete calibration and commissioning work at customer sites
  • Fault-find across electrical, mechanical and IT-based systems
  • Provide professional customer support while working in the field
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Experience servicing weighing equipment is essential
  • Electrical, mechanical, instrumentation or IT-based engineering background
  • Previous customer-facing field service experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Based within 1 hour of Peterborough

  • £28,000 - £35,000 basic salary DOE
