A mechanical engineer is required with a background in mechanical design of piping and sizing pipes, pumps, and valves from a mechanical contractor, process industry, oil & gas, water or building services background.
This is a mid-level Mechanical Engineer role and could be suitable for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. This is not a CAD job.
We require someone to hit the ground running, so only able to accept applications from local individuals with 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering and either building services, commercial HVAC design engineering, or process industry, such as Oil & Gas, involving pipework, valves, pumps, and structural engineering.
Designing solutions for mission-critical infrastructure data centre applications.
Hours: 38-40 hours, early finish on Fridays.
An experienced Mechanical Engineer or Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with around 10+ years of experience is likely to have worked in an M&E D&B Contractor or Building Services Consultancy, process industry, Oil & Gas background involving pipework, pressure vessels, pump selection.
Knowledge of mechanical commercial building services and HVAC is a distinct advantage.
Ideally able to use Solidworks, AutoCAD MEP.
This is a contract role. Initial 6 month contract.
