A growing, family-run engineering business is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the South West and wider UK. This is a home-based role, working on a range of heavy plant equipment, providing servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and statutory inspections.
The Role
- Service, maintain and repair heavy plant machinery on customer sites
- Diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
- Carry out LOLER and PUWER inspections
- Complete digital service reports and job sheets
- Build strong relationships with customers in the field
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance, Heavy Vehicle, or similar - essential
- Proven experience working on heavy plant equipment
- Strong fault-finding skills across hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Experience using diagnostic tools
- Full UK driving licence
