Our client is looking for a Service Engineer to join their busy team. The Service Engineer will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on site utilities and services.
- Perform inspections, condition monitoring, and preventative maintenance activities.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime.
- Implement improvements to plant and equipment to enhance reliability and performance.
- Record all maintenance activities accurately within the maintenance management system.
- Develop and update planned maintenance schedules and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and inspection requirements.
- Maintain inspection, servicing, and certification records for site services systems.
- Manage critical spare parts and coordinate stock levels with engineering stores.
- Provide mechanical support to wider engineering teams as required.
- Support new installations, upgrades, and small engineering projects.
Skills and Experience:
