An innovative UK based technology company is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join their growing commercial team. Operating globally, the company is a leader in machine vision systems used for industrial inspection, automation, and guidance across multiple sectors.
The Role
You will support the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation through to closing- working alongside sales and engineering colleagues to develop tailored technical proposals and solutions. The role involves both inbound lead follow up and proactive outreach to new clients across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualify and nurture inbound leads
- Create technical quotations and presentations
- Develop new business through outbound activity
- Manage and grow existing global customer accounts
- Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce
- Support revenue targets and attend trade shows
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in technical sales (Machine Vision and Instrumentation)
- Degree-level education in Engineering
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Familiar with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Organised, detail focused and target-driven
- Knowledge of industrial automation or machine vision
- Full UK driving licence
- Company pension
