Technical Sales Engineer – Machine Vision & Industrial Automation – Internally Based A leading provider of machine vision systems is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to work in their Oxford-based office, working on the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through to product installation. As the successful Technical Sales Engineer you will work alongside the engineering and sales team to develop quotations under the guidance of the Sales & Marketing Director and will reach out to new customers as well as fostering existing relationships via phone, emails and social media. Work with the sales and engineering teams to create detailed proposals, technical presentations and solutions. Proactively reach out to potential customers through phone calls, emails, and social media. Build and maintain existing accounts. Carry out meetings or demos with qualified prospects. Work with the sales team to build strategies to reach sales targets. Continuously update your knowledge of our products and industry trends. Contribute to the development of sales collateral and materials. Attend industry events or trade shows to network and identify potential leads. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation in the Automation industry. Educated to degree level preferably in an Engineering, Business or Marketing discipline.
