The Role
- You'll play a vital role in supporting the Engineering team, ensuring all systems, glasshouse facilities, and associated equipment operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption.
- Working closely with other departments, you'll help reduce breakdowns, improve processes, and contribute to the long-term performance of our sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and production equipment (including boilers, high-pressure pumps, and gearboxes).
- Diagnose faults quickly and take ownership of repairs and refurbishments.
- Proactively identify potential issues before they become problems.
- Conduct daily machinery checks and ensure all work is completed safely.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Liaise with suppliers and specialist contractors when required.
- Control maintenance tools, stores, and costs.
