An established engineering business in the weighing industry is looking to recruit a Service Engineer to support customers across Bridgwater and the surrounding area. This role would suit an engineer with a background in electrical maintenance, field service, machinery maintenance or industrial equipment. Previous experience with weighing equipment is not essential, although experience working with bagging systems, feeding equipment, cylinders or solenoids would be highly advantageous.
The Role:
- Service, maintain and repair industrial equipment
- Carry out electrical maintenance and basic fault-finding
- Diagnose faults on mechanical and electrical systems
- Work on components such as cylinders, solenoids, sensors and control systems
- Support planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns
- Complete service reports and communicate professionally with customers
- Travel to customer sites around Bridgwater and surrounding areas
Requirements:
- Based within approximately 20-30 miles of Bridgwater, TA6
- Electrical maintenance experience
- Mechanical aptitude and strong fault-finding skills
- Experience with industrial machinery, production equipment, packaging, bagging or feeding systems would be beneficial
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, customer-focused
