Head of Sales is required to join a global engineering manufacturer. This is a frontline senior sales and sales leadership role at Sales Director / Head of Sales level. An engineering and strategic solutions sales background in an industrial sector such as Oil & Gas, hydraulics, process sector is essential. The company designs and manufactures fluid management solutions which are engineered-to-order and form the basis-of-design.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of engineering sales and sales management experience.
  • Degree or HNC in Engineering.
  • Sales experience at a senior and technical level for high-value projects e.g. Head of Sales, Sales Director, Commercial Manager, Commercial Director, Business Unit Leader, Sales Leader.
  • Likely to have worked for a global engineering company.
  • Sales management, sales team leadership expertise, and a successful track record.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Located within 100 miles of Manchester.

The Role:

  • Setting and executing commercial strategy for the region, collaborating with global teams.
  • Lead sales team, coach, develop and mentor to success.
  • Proactively selling engineered solutions as the basis-of-design.
  • Lead business development into mechanical contractors, consultants, OEMs throughout UK and Central Europe.
  • Extensive travel UK and internationally.
