Salary £40K-£45K + £4,800 car allowance, 37.5 hours per week, pension, 25 days holiday

To manage aftersales service and spare parts supply for this machinery manufacturer. A customer service-based role, involves visiting customers, account management, and arranging service visits for engineers.

The role

  • A non-technical role providing high-level, proactive customer service for the supply of spare parts and service & maintenance visits.
  • Typically office based with occasional customer visits
  • Customer relationship and account management, proactively maintaining relationships with customers
  • Visiting customers post sale of machinery solutions
  • Quotes & followup
  • Ensuring spare parts are delivered on time
  • Working with Head of Engineering to enure service visits are scheduled timely.

Flexible hours 0800 or 0830 start, 1600 or 1630 finish, early finish Friday. 1 day per week from home.

  • A background in aftersales service / spare parts in an engineering or machinery company, ideally.
  • Customer service and account management experience
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel to customers as required
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Likely to have experience as; aftersales manager, service manager, service supervisor, service coordinator, customer service manager, spares manager, account manager or similar
