Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - £50-£63k doe
I am searching for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a mission critical engineering team, delivering complex design solutions within a highly regulated industry.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the nuclear sector or a similarly regulated environment such as defence, aerospace, rail, or oil & gas.
You will have a strong background in mechanical design, taking projects from concept through detailed design, with a thorough understanding of engineering standards, compliance, and safety-critical requirements.
Key requirements
Proven experience in mechanical design within a highly regulated industry (nuclear preferred).
Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, relevant codes, standards, and quality processes.
Experience producing and reviewing technical documentation and design calculations.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), with chartered status or working towards it desirable.
