My client is looking for a CNC Service Engineer to join their team. They work as the UK partner for leading machine tool brands, supplying equipment such as vertical lathes, double-column mills, and universal bedmills. Their engineers are central to delivering, installing, and supporting high-end machining solutions across industries including aerospace, nuclear, automotive, and energy.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of new CNC machine tools at customer sites
- Commissioning, testing, and optimisation of machines
- Planned preventative maintenance and servicing
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair
- Providing customer support, operator training, and applications advice
Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with CNC machine tools
- Knowledge of Fanuc and/or Heidenhain control systems
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Previous experience in a field service or maintenance role
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills
