Quality Engineer Engineering / Customer Focused

Quality Engineer required to join a specialist manufacturer and solutions provider in the Coventry area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for quality and continuous improvement, to become part of a growing team. A solid background in root cause analysis and a working knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards is essential for this role, and previous experience in valves, manifolds, hydraulics, power units , or similar mechanical components would be highly advantageous. The Role: As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of quality assurance operations, empowered to stop production when safety or quality is compromised. Your responsibilities will include: Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice. Support new product introduction (NPI) activity. Collaborate on process improvements and lean implementation. Leading root-cause analysis and corrective actions processes (8D, 5 why, Ishikawa). Ensuring compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Conduct quality internal audits. Requirements: A relevant qualification such as a Degree, HND, or BTEC Level 5 (or equivalent experience). Practical experience in root cause analysis methodologies, including 8D. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Experience in hydraulics is preferred, although not essential.
