I'm looking for a proactive and organised Product Quality Assurance Co-ordinator to join a growing team and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards across our fresh produce operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic business, helping to ensure that premium fruit entering our packhouse and leaving as finished products consistently meets customer expectations, food safety requirements, and industry standards.

The Role:

As a Product Quality Assurance Co-ordinator, you'll work closely with multiple departments to ensure product quality, stock accuracy, traceability, and compliance throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing stock control
  • Allocating stock to customer orders based on availability and priority
  • Coordinating stock distribution
  • Conducting raw material inspections and quality checks
  • Investigating quality concerns and supporting corrective actions
  • Verifying compliance with customer specifications and food safety standards
  • Supporting product sampling, shelf-life management, and quality reporting
  • Carrying out routine verification checks on equipment

You:

  • Experience within a quality assurance or quality control role in the fresh produce or food sector
  • Food Safety Level 2 certification
  • Knowledge of retail and food safety standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and with external stakeholders
  • A positive, "can-do" attitude and the confidence to challenge when quality standards are at risk
  • Customer-facing experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
