My client is looking for a Sales Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a technical background in pumps or fluid systems who enjoys a mix of client relationships management, technical sales and solution based selling.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and growing an existing portfolio of industrial and commercial clients
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across key sectors (water, wastewater, manufacturing, utilities)
- Providing technical advice on pump selection, system design, and specifications
- Preparing quotations, proposals, and tenders
- Working closely with internal engineering and service teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Attending client meetings, site visits, and industry events
Skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a Sales Engineer / Technical Sales role
- Knowledge of pumps, fluid handling, or rotating equipment
- Ability to understand technical specifications and advise customers accordingly
- Background in sectors such as water, wastewater, industrial or manufacturing
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Full UK driving licence
