Sales/Design Engineer / Contracts Manager is required for a varied cradle-to-grave role within a small, long-established, family-run HVAC engineering contractor.
Essential requirements:
- HVAC background in ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, heating is essential for this role
- CAD design
- Full driving licence
- Package: circa £40K+ car
You will handle projects from customer enquiry to installation; follow up enquiries, site survey, design systems (CAD), procurement, project management, manage installations, support subcontractors.
Key duties include:
- Responding to telephone and website enquiries
- Visiting customers to site survey and maintain relationships.
- Designing systems to client specifications and producing CAD layouts.
- Planning, organising and supervising suppliers and installers.
- Managing installations and all associated project documentation.
- Supporting preparation of RAMS, method statements and technical paperwork.
- Ensuring the Quality Management System meets ISO9001:2015 standards.
It is likely you have worked for a ventilation, air conditioning or heating contractor as a design engineer, contracts manager, sales engineer or similar.
